Hints on Viewing This Site
Any Current Browser Works
Content on this site is designed to work with any current browser.
Current browsers include FireFox (recommended), Mozilla, Internet Explorer (version 6 or better recommended), Safari and Opera (version 6 or better).
Site Design is Standards-Compliant
This site is built to the standards of Web design as specified by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
All pages have been checked and most found to be valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional using W3C’s Validator service.
External Links Open New Windows
Links pointing to a Website external to this site will open a separate window using Javascript. These are not pop-up windows. Simply close the new window to return to this site.
Javascript Must Be Enabled
If Javascript is disabled, the browser will not open a new window, and you may return to this site by using the return navigation arrow. Note that some sites disable this return function, so you may wish to bookmark this site before visiting external sites.
Text May Be Enlarged
Text sizes may be increased or decreased in modern browsers. This is particularly useful if you have difficulty viewing the default sizes. This function varies by browser but is usually located in the View menu.
Extreme Size Increases Distort Layout
Note: Extreme increases in size may create problems with the layout. Images do not resize and there are limits to how much room there is for the increase in text sizes. (Firefox version 3 will zoom the entire page, minimizing this effect, but images still blur as they are enlarged.)
Older Browsers May Not Display Correctly
Unfortunately, some content on this site may not display properly in older browsers that do not recognize or correctly interpret style sheets. This problem should affect less than 5 percent of the browsers currently in use.
Content should be visible, but may be portrayed in your browser’s default fonts and be placed incorrectly. This affects primarily Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 4 as well as their earlier versions.
Upgrade Your Browser
To view this site properly, you may wish to upgrade to a newer browser.
PDF Documents
Several documents on this Website are labelled as PDF usually followed by a number. You will need the free Adobe® Reader® to view and print PDF documents.
The number in brackets beside PDF documents refers to the size of the document and is provided for your convenience. For example, (PDF - 250k) refers to an Acrobat® document that is approximately 250 kilobytes in size.
